No names, no dates, only a classic college photo. Off hand I don’t recognize the two guys standing there so that is no help. The photo itself is in really good shape and barely sepia. So I would guess that this was from the early 1930s when my Grandfather was attending the University of Detroit. The other possibility is that this was after 1933 when he went to grad school at Loyola in Chicago. If I could identify that stadium in the background that would help a lot, but sadly I cannot. So, any of you out there recognize that stadium?
UPDATE: Some friends figured out that this is the University of Detroit Stadium, which was once home to the Lions. There is a surprising lack of photos of this place on line.
